Visiting Home
Ah yes, nothing like visiting home! I went to Boston last Friday to see my brother graduate college…I’m so very proud of him! I liked Boston as well, and I’m a bit sad I have no one to visit there anymore! But I’m sure a road trip with friends won’t be out of the question.
After Saturday, we all drove back down to NY since my brother moved back home. I was able to hang out with all my friends, as well as eat all my “American food” that I can’t get in England (or I can, but it’s not quite the same!) This includes, Puerto Rican/mom’s homemade food, my aunt’s lasagna, Chinese, Korean, cheeseburger, hot dog, a local Italian restaurant that I always go to with my friends, and any other random things that I can’t get here. Yes I know, it’s a strange list, but I’m allowed
I also went to the city on Friday night with my friends to the Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan. It was fantastic! Saw the comedian Gabriel Iglesias. If you ever see him in town, go watch. =) During the week I bought some random bits and pieces; some Blu-ray HDDVDs, headphones, a shirt or two, and a couple of gifts.
All in all it was a much needed vacation
I slept for about 10 hours last night after not getting any sleep on the plane! Ugh. But I’m ok today. Time to get back into my usual swing of things!
