Cultural difference

There are so very many cultural differences between America and the UK. Don’t get me wrong, America is huge, and has enough cultural difference across the country that I’ve noticed from traveling for work, but it’s still the same country. I’ll write about them as I go.

Take for example, coffee. I’m drinking my Nescafe GoldBlend instant coffee. Never in a million years would you catch me in NY drinking instant coffee. Bleh! Starbucks all the way. But here, it’s the norm. In hotels, in homes, at work; anywhere you go. They do have nice cafes here serviing Costa coffee, and they do have Starbucks in London, and even in some town centres….but it’s not the same. Ah well, glad I bought a coffee maker and some ground coffee for use at home. I make it PR style…very strong and with boiled milk. I’m keeping it “old school”. :biggrin:
