My first sewing project!

So I’ve decided to take out my mom’s old sewing machine and give it a go.  I figure with my spare time, since I have so much of it, is to make little things here and there that would be useful!  This is my first shot at making a simple case for the eee pc.  Not bad, except for the small piece on top where my thread ended :P  I made the “case” out of a leg from a pair of pants/trousers that I was going to give away.  I’ll use the other pant leg to perfect the case, using grey thread to match the material.  What do you think?
