Mongolian Food
Had some Mongolian food yesterday, it was great! It was similar to Chinese food, since I chose a sweet and sour chicken dish…but the difference with this is that you make your own dish. They give you a bowl, you go up to the little buffet counter, and choose your meat. Then you pick your veggies and spices to put in with it. There are recipes on the board next to you, so you can follow that, or you can customize what you want to add. I chose the chicken with sweet and sour, so I had to add chicken, pineapple, courgette (zucchini) , carrots, and some random other stuff, along with spices like garlic, and some sesame oil and cooking oil. Then you wait in line, and they cook it for you on a big round stove; 3 cooks working at the same time. When they are done, you go sit down and eat your meal, with some white rice on the table. It was great
I’ll definitely go back and try a different dish. So I recommend Mongolian- it gets a *two thumbs up*.
