Now in Bedfordshire

Quaint little town, getting used to it after being here at week. The weather has been crappy, but finally cleared up this weekend. Now it’s nice and sunny, woo hoo! I lied out in the backyard to get a little bit of color, since I’m pretty pale, even for having olive skin tone! I haven’t had much of a summer in NY or here. Ah well, I need to enjoy the sun here before it disappears again. Please God make the sun last for a month more at least! I don’t want to look for a winter coat just yet

I need to blog more, as I always say. Lots of funny little things happen, but I never am by the laptop to document them all. I finally got a Vodafone sim card for my phone, so I feel in touch with the world again. I’ve been to a bbq yesterday, and the day before we had one ourselves. Shopping for food was a test of my patience–my poor boyfriend was back and forth in what foods to get, and in what order. Normally you go down an isle in the grocery store, and get what you need, then keep going down the isles and grab anything else. We had to go back and forth between the isles…I was getting dizzy It was fun either way. I made hamburgers from scratch, and they came out pretty good I must say Today we went to the gym, and I feel really good. Tomorrow if it’s sunny I want to walk around the town, or walk through the park next door and see where I can do my jogging. Need to update the ipod again so it includes my new tunes. We also watched some Transformers on VHS tapes (yes that’s right, VHS), and the boyfriend was all cute and giddy remembering which transformers he had. I pictured the Queens crew saying the same, and thinking of when we watched the movie in NY how excited they were. Boys are funny.

I’ve got a copy of iLife 08…going to try it out. Maybe I’ll work on other parts of the site with iWeb, such as the picture and movie gallery. I might keep the blog with Wordpress depending on how user friendly iWeb is. I’d want to be able to post to the blog from the web if needed though, and I’ve always liked Wordpress, so we’ll see. After all, I want a nice website with the features that I want, but still definitely want to *really* learn how to code it by hand. I know it will take time. I’ll use the RHEL 5 machine that we have in the spare room. As soon as I get it on the KVM, I’m golden I like having this time on my hands, I still feel like I’m busy all the time, but I know I’ll learn to relax and just do what I want to do.
